Installs, configures, and maintains operating system workstations and servers.Works with moderate guidance to administer simple systems and assists in the administration of larger systems. Maintains complex system and network administration functions.Provides tier II and tier III level support.Writes and maintains custom scripts to increase system efficiency and increase automation.Created easy-to-digest documentation to share knowledge across the IT team and for the user-facing knowledge base.Evaluates and recommends new hardware and software technologies or solutions.


Builds, configures, and upgrades workstations, laptops, and mobile devices using MDM systems owned by the team.Works collaboratively with peers across the University to solve issues on macOS.Manage the baseline configuration for device deployments and the continual updating and patching of systems to remediate risk.In coordination with the IT Director, develop and administer the End User Device Policy, Data Classification Guidelines, and Acceptable Use Policy.Along with the IT Director, help lead the annual Security Framework Assessment process.Provides end-user support to faculty, staff, and students.
